Marching Lions
The Walkersville High School Marching Lions performs at home football games, parades, and competes in the Maryland Marching Band Association, facing high schools from Maryland.
Concert Band
The Walkersville High School Concert Band performs at the Winter and Spring Music Department concerts as well as adjudications.
Lions of Blue
The dedicated and talented members of the Lions of Blue Jazz Ensemble rehearse primarily after school. The Lions of Blue Jazz Ensemble performs in the Winter and Spring WHS Music Department concerts, the Jazz Cafe, and community events.
String Orchestra
The Walkersville High School String Orchestra tackles challenging and beautiful pieces in a variety of musical styles. The String Orchestra performs at the Winter and Spring Music Department concerts as well as adjudications.
Choir
The Walkersville High School Mixed Chorus performs at the Winter and Spring Music Department concerts as well as adjudications. Participants in choir are enrolled in the choir class during the school year.
Chorale
The Walkersville High School Chorale is a year-round ensemble that rehearses after school. The Chorale performs at the Winter and Spring Music Department concerts.
Show Choir
The Walkersville High School Show Choir combines timeless show tunes with exciting choreography for a truly unique musical performance. The Show Choir performs at the Spring Music Department concerts.
Unified Percussion
The Unified Percussion ensemble offers students who may have difficulty participating in a traditional musical ensemble an opportunity to make music. The Walkersville High School Unified Percussion ensemble performs at the Winter and Spring Music Department concerts.
